Plants are tall, have a spreading habit and dark green smooth leaves. A great variety for processors, fresh market growers and home gardeners. Offers a short crop time, the ability to capture repeat cuts after several weeks and a wide window of planting opportunities (November thru April in some areas, year round in others. Good shelf life and can be kept bright and crips 4 to 5 days on display at farmers markets and roadside stands. Per serving, they offer the same amount of fiber, lower calories, carbohydreates and fat as Kale and provides over 100% recommended daily allowance of vitamins A and K. Widely adaptable and can be grown in various climates. Good yielder with hgih bolt resistance.
