2009 AAS Winner! A glossy, white-fruited eggplant in the "mini" class, but produces yields that rival larger-fruited varieties for sheer abundance. Plants grow to just 36 to 42 inches in height and 24 to 36 inches in width, producing clustered, 3 to 4 inch fruits that are very sweet and firm. Tender skins and few seeds make Gretel an excellent choice for grilling and sautéing. Harvest fruits frequently to encourage setting throughout the season.
