Hummingbirds & butterflies will love this dwarf type, first year flowering perennial & at retail, consumers will too! Attractive, upright flowering spikes proudly displayed in a gorgeous array of colors put on an impressive show above lush green foliage. Makes a very charming cut flower. Performs well in full sun or partial shade and is perfect for containers, mass plantings, beds and in landscapes. Plants have a short crop time with no vernalization required. Pinching is not needed, although frequent cutting enhances re-growth. Recommended for 6 to 8" pots to gallon containers for retail sales. Plug crop time is 5 to 6 weeks and transplant to finish is 12 to 15 weeks. Can be grown as an annual in areas outside of Zones 6-8. Spreads 12 to 14". 14-16". Short-lived Perennial.
