Early, large yields of bitter-free fruits won't become bitter even when left on the vine. Dark green, 3 to 5" gherkins with white spines, are perfect for pickling and fresh eating. Excellent disease tolerance to Scab and Cucumber Mosaic Virus with intermediate resistance to Powdery and Downy Mildews. A parthenocarpic variety meaning plants produce fruit without insect pollination - good for urban gardens and high tunnel production. Strongly vigorous, vining plants are gynoecious, as well. Produces well in both field and greenhouse. Best when trellised.
