65-70 days. (Melissa officinalis) Finely lobed, light green leaves are used to flavor iced/hot herbal teas and offer a nice scent to potpourris. Plants have attractive foliage and small white flowers in the summer. Both varieties have a strong spreading, trailing habit and can be used as ground covers or in mixed containers. In containers, plants grow just 6 to 8" tall; in gardens, 14 to 18". Spreads 20 to 24". Zones 4-9. Features a much stronger lemon scent than any other standard Lemon Balm variety on today's market.
