42 days. 2025 AAS Winner! Flattened-round 4 to 5", white fleshed bulbs are uniform, crisp, nearly fiberless and have a sweet flavor with peppery undertones. Bulbs are an attractive, vibrant purple that extends to the stems and veins of the leaves creating a very ornamental plant. Skins are smoother for easier cleaning. Leaves are also highly flavorful roasted, sauteed or used raw when young and tender. Whether grown in the spring or fall, it will continue to produce flavorful, crack-resistant bulbs. Keeps well. Upright stems are flexibile and nice for bunching. Great for containers. Plants grow to 12 to 16" tall. Highly resistant to Fusarium with intermediate resistance to Black Rot.
