50-55 days. Resists bolting in warm climates. This romaine type lettuce was bred in the desert heat of Israel, so it's used to temperature extremes and demonstrates a remarkable amount of heat tolerance. It will remain sweet, crisp and delicious, and will not succumb to tipburn. The 14 to 16 inch heads hold 2 to 3 pounds of bright green leaves. Tolerant of powdery and downy mildew.
