45 days. A mini romaine, little gem-type with nice, tight heads. Clam shell-shaped heads grow approx. 4 to 6" wide by 6 to 12" long, have green, ruffled leaves that surround green to yellow hearts, a sweet, crisp flavor and a tender texture. Perfect for containers and small space gardens. Great for fresh and processing markets. Widely adaptable throughout various growing regions and planting periods – in mild climates sowing is recommended from May through July; in mild winter regions sow September through May. Recommended for packs and jumbo packs at retail. Highly resistant to Downy Mildew, Lettuce Leaf Aphid and Tomato Bushy Stunt Virus. Also tolerant to Bolting and Tip burn.
