Smooth, tapered poblanos mature from deep forest green to deep chocolate brown and are mostly 2-lobed. Fruits have dark green flesh, a subtle, sweet cherry undertone and just enough heat without being too overpowering with a rating of 1,500 Scoville units. Perfect for fresh use or drying. Excellent choice for processing and fresh markets, as well as bedding plant growers and farmers markets. Strong, vigorous plants provide good leaf cover to protect fruits from sunscald.
